  • Question

  • This thread is showing up in My Threads.  I did not contribute to the thread.  I did however change the thread type.  This did not happen previously and is just about as undesirable as having sticky threads stick to the top.  Well, less.

  • Ok, so I found the bug. We have an upsert style Put Message proc, right now it calls "set participation" period. That is both insert (new reply) and update (edit...). It really should only set participation bit for the insert case.

The bug has been logged and we're taking it for the Feb release thats currently in test. So in other words, it should be out when the repl fix goes live.

Worse, I'd say. You can at least clearly see (Sticky!) that it's a sticky post. With this you are presumably opening it to see what replies have come to your reply only to see you haven't replied to it at all.

    Not good.

  • I'm going to be restoring a recent backup for my v.next work. When I do, I'll check this out because on the whole it doesn't make sense and certainly shouldn't work this way.
