Why has my website not been crawled? RRS feed

    I submitted my sitemap several weeks ago, and the webmaster tools are showing new backlinks to it the site all the time (http://www.advoco-solutions.co.uk),

    however the summary page still shows this

     

    Site status

    Last crawled: N/A Indexed pages: N/A
    Domain score: N/A Blocked: No

    Top 5 pages

    Web page Page score Language Region Last crawled Blocked
    No data is available.

     

     

     

    Has anyone got any ideas what I can do to change this?

    Hi Dave,

     

    Is this still an issue? I'm showing 47 pages in our index currently. If you have any other questions, let me know.

    In my experience it takes ages for MSN to index sites. Your site could be being crawled but not indexed, as there seems to be a delay for MSN which you don´t get with Google and Yahoo. You may want to check your robots.txt file is MSN-friendly.

     

    I started a new site http://www.carhirefaroairport.com/ in mid August, had high ranking pages in both Google (it is currently PageRank 3 for the homepage) and Yahoo within a month, but I cant even get the pages indexed by MSN.

    Hi Dave-

     

    Having the same problems with each of my sites: http://www.eggheadproductions.com http://www.atvvideo.com and http://www.atvvideotransfer.com.  Let me know if you have found anything out.  This is really frustrating!

    Thanks for your replies guys,  at least I know I'm not alone!

    Also I should mention that it did used to be in the index.  I can't be sure when it fell out as I took my eye off the ball but I first submitted it nearly two years ago!

    I got the same issue. Site Summarry in  webmaster tools showing N/A for all options in site status. http://www.ercomputers.co.uk is online for 3 month. No one page is indexed. :-(

    Hello.
    I have the same problem. My site is new but it's already in google and yahoo. I submitted sitemap and see backlinks in webmaster tool. How long it takes to be indexed in MSN? My site is http://www.garmin-nuvi.com

    The truth is you will probably only ever get a few pages indexed in MSN for the simple reason MSN crawler is broken and MSN are to stubon to admit it.

    It does not matter what you do only about 0.1% of trafic will come from MSN. The best thing you can do is work on Google and Yahoo they are the only seach engines that matter today.

    I would not worry about it our site is PR5 and MSN still only index a few pages. Work on google and yahoo they are the only search engines that matter.

    Same problem here i have one page showing as indexed and that is not even the home page which is no 1 on yahoo and no 8 on google. If i can't even get the home page indexed after 5 months what hope do i have of getting the other 63 pages indexed which all show on yahoo and google and many of them on first page for various terms.

     

    Any help and advice greatly appreciated (what makes it worse is that i sometimes use adcentre for ppc and even the pages i advertise are not indexed) http://www.carpetbagging.co.uk/
