Hyperlink to Case in Auto-Reply RRS feed

  • Hello -

    We are using the auto-reply feature when a new email comes in to a server-monitored email box.  It creates a nice little customized message, but it doesn't include a hyperlink that the customer (in our case, internal users) can click on to see the status of their case. 

    Is this possible in Dynamics?  This would also assume that there is some read-only "view" of cases for non-licensed users.  Is that possible as well?

  • Hi Jeff,

      if you are using email templates for those emails, you may need a workaround like the one described at the link below to add links to the templates:


      However, there is no "read-only case view" which you could provide to your customers unless you start creating CRM user accounts for them (in which case you can limit their permissions.. but it's probably not what you were asking for)
