  • I also have a aPavilion g6 and I am experiencing the same problem BSoD..... blue screen of death : (

I found this comment on another forum.

"While BSoD fatal stop errors are identified by Microsoft Windows, they are often caused by non-Microsoft applications, drivers and hardware issues."

    link:   http://www.faultwire.com/solutions-fatal_error/UNEXPECTED-STORE-EXCEPTION-0x00000154-*1371.html

Although every time I shutdown my computer when I turn it on again it shows this error message, once it gathers the info I restart and it works fine. So far the whole process takes like 2 minutes.... I don't like it but I have not found and answer as to how to fix it yet. If someone does... please advice.

  • Well......apparently it's a HP Pavilion technical problem cuz I get the exact same thing on my Pavilion g6.
I switched over to Windows 10 Sunday morning and have been pleased as punch with it. The only problem is waiting for the reboot (about 5 minutes for me) whenever I turn it on.
Oh......and I also miss the 'hibernation' feature when i'm done..  It now seems odd to me to completely 'shut down' each and every time.  A personal preference, but this waiting for the restart each and every time is just.............'wrong'.
