Can I clean install W7 with a WGA Kit Disc and product key?

Hi all

A few years ago I purchased a new notebook in Taiwan, asking it to be with English version of W7 Pro. Later I discovered the retailer had installed a fake English version. I then purchased a WGA Kit with product key and was sent the related installation DVD.

My 'puter is now becoming highly unstable so I wish to back up data and perform a clean install of W7 Pro. How would I be able to clean install from this DVD? It is the same computer on which the WGA product key was originally installed.

The Get Genuine Kit is a full retail license (with a secondary restriction to use on the same PC as was affected originally) - so there is no restriction on reinstalling either as a repair, or as a clean install, on the same hardware.

You will probably not even have to activate by phone.
