Unable to remotely Remote Access WHS RRS feed

    Help please

    I am running 64 bit windows 7 and have as ASUS Windows Home server. I have configured the system and the network works at home. I have set up remote access got my name https://xxxxxx.homserevr.com and the dashboard says remote access is available. However when I try to connect i have the following probles if i use

    http://xxxxx.homeserver.com I get to the home server web page click log in and then an error message that 'cannot display web page'

    https://xxxx.homeserver.com takes me dircetly to the error page.

    I am using a BT Home Hub 3 and BT tell me the ports are open. This would seem to be the case as the systen verified the connection and says remote access is available.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Can I assume that you are using WHS2011 as you have posted in this forum? The reason I ask, is that I was not aware that Asus made a server with WHS on it. Anyway, back to your problem - try running ShieldsUp at www.grc.com and confirm that the following ports are open:

    WHS: 80, 443 & 4215

    WHS 2011: 443 (& optionally 80).
