office 2003 activates but oga can't validate RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm working on a pc with windows xp and office 2003, windows validation is fine, but office is another story. Office says it's activated, but oga says it's not, I've tried deleting opa11.dat already and re-activating online and by phone, both came out successful but wont pass validation.

Below is the output from the diagnostic tool.

  •  Hello Bredick,

Thank you for visiting the OGA Forums. Curious do you have another version of Office that WAS or IS currently installed? If so please let me know what version it was. Sometimes you may have either had a trial version  or previous Office Suite installed which may have left behind some remenants that could be the cause. Please visit your control pannel and open your Add/Remove Programs and let us know if you see anything left behind in the uninstalled programs.

    Thank you

    Stephen

  • I'm sorry I've had some trouble getting back here to update.
This pc was a clean reinstall about 6 months ago, there have been no previous versions of office installed. I am needing to get this resolved to upgrade publisher to 07, which is failing, (my guess) due to oga not validating.
When I did the reinstall I had used the same copy of office (oem 03 pro) and same key that was on it before and had no problems until recently.
