Not Genuine Build 7601
I was trying to put a 3tb hd in my system and had to revert back to the original drive so nothing has changed on the system but after i gave up and rebooted with the original i got the errors. It's copy purchased from newegg. has been runnning fine for about 6 months. followed some instructions i could find. removed the product key and restarted and tried to reactivate, got the activation code 0x80070005 and got as far as running MGADiag. results below.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I was (obviously) wrong.
Permission Denied errors on slmgr.vbs can be for a number of reasons - I chose the most likely.
Unfortunately, the only other known solution in these forums is a repair install of Win 7.
Perhaps the best thing you could do is use the WGA Support
links......
WGA Support can be found here-
North America: http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/cu_sc_genadv_master?ws=support&ws=support#tab4
Outside North America:
http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support#tab0
Please let us know if (and how) MS manage to repair the
problem without a repair install of the OS - it would be useful for future
reference!

I suspect that the system has been subject to the attentions of a hacker’s program.Try this – it may help.Download and run WATFix – from http://www.datafilehost.com/download-51f6132b.htmlNOTE that it may trigger a virus alert, but that the file is safe.Extract the download to your desktop, then run the extracted file.Once complete, run another MGADiag report.
