ASP.NET 2.0 .50727 deadlock eventid 2262 RRS feed

    The event 2262 has been decsribed in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/974165/en-us. of we install the hotfix for this: the installation seems to be succesful though the files spnet_wp.exe System.web.dll Webengine.dll  are not update. Im still having version 2.0.50727.3618 and not the higher version 2.0.50727.4066.

    What seems odd: the creation date of the lower version is more recent than the creation date of the higher version.

    Unfortunatly due to the 2262 event and the blocking of the .NET application we need to reboot almost every day the impacted systems

    Welcome to the MSDN Forum.

    Would you please let me know the version of your OS? If you are using Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, you can install this update http://support.microsoft.com/kb/983440. It includes the kb974165, and file version is 2.0.50727.5014.

    Additionally, since your issue is related with IIS, you can consider open a new post in the IIS Forum: http://forums.iis.net/ for more efficient response.
