Don't scale up but scale everything else down RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello.

When you stitch a panorama together and move the projection(stitch) around it will scale images up to fit.

an example would be shooting a building from ground level with a series of photos, then in ICE you drag the stitch up to remove the perspective distortion and give a look more like that of a tiltshift lens or taking the photo from higher up. Parallel sides of the building instead of converging.

However to do this ICE scales the photos of the top of the building up, this makes them bury and in the final image you're left with a photo which is bluryer the higher up the building you look.

So is there an option or can this be a feature request that on creation/saving/output of the panorama instead of scaling anything up it never scales up but actually scales everything down to fit, the resulting image would be smaller in size but would retain more sharpness in the areas which are changing the most.
