Download from remote access finishes prematurely RRS feed

    When downloading files from remote access I often have the problem that the download finishes before the entire ZIP-file has been downloaded. This happens about 9 out of 10 times. I have tried both ZIP and EXE files. About the same error rate.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Andreas,

    which size do the files have?
    Maybe this info helps you to increase the timeout for downloads.

    I have already set the timeout to 60 minutes with Advanced Admin Console. I have tried with files down to 5 MB and still have the problem on about 60-70%.

    Hi again,

    which virus scanner do you have on client and server? (Sometimes these cause strange timeouts, so it may be the case in the described situation as well.) Try to disable both temporary and download again.

    Would the download work if you try it from within the same LAN (via http://server)? In this case the difficulties could be caused by a bad upload connection to the Internet. Or is this only limited to these file types, and other files (i.e. images or document type files) go through?
