Communicator & iPhone

Question

Does anyone know if the communicator is available for the iPhone?
If not available, does anyone know if this is something that is in the pipeline, or will it never be looked at?
Thanks,

There is currently no iPhone client for OCS, but CWA can be used from the iPhone's browser. AFAIK there are no plans to release an iPhone-specific Communicator Mobile client (and I wouldn't hold my breathe for one either).
There is a server-based product called WebMessenger that connects to OCS on the backe=-end and directly supports it's own clients which run on mulitple phone platforms.

Lots of talk on Twitter lately about an iPhone client. Sounds like there may be a few different groups building clients. One mentioned having a beta out this summer, so cross your fingers.Wednesday, May 20, 2009 7:17 PM
