Next level of Certification Exam RRS feed

  • Hai,

    Two years back I have completed MCTS for .NET 2.0 version. I want to proceed with the next level of exams with latest version of technology. Can you please give me a suggestion to do exam?

  • Hi,

    it depends if you hold a MCPD or only a MCTS certification. For the first one you have to upgrade your certification. If you only have one MCTS you should start with an actual exam in the appropriate area (see the link above).

  • As Horizon_Net has pointed out, if you only have the MCTS certification, there is no upgrade path to .Net 3.5 or .Net 4.0.

    If you have a MCPD, then this link provides details on the upgrade paths available to go from MCPD .Net 2.0 to MCPD .Net 3.5 http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/mcpd.aspx#tab3.  here is no upgrade path from MCPD .Net 2.0 to MCPD .Net 4.0
