sbs 2003 & outlook / business contacts manager RRS feed

  • Question

  • We're currently running a small peer to peer network and use business contacts manager (bcm) within outlook 2003 to organise all of our contacts etc. The problem is when the host machine (we all run laptops) is out of the office we don't have any access to the data. We're therefore looking at switching to a dedicated server using sbs 2003 with all the benefits it offers. I'm assuming we can install outlook 2003 & bcm onto the server and then use this as the central access point to access all the contact info from? Can someone confirm this please. Thanks!

  • I am running Outlook 2007 with business contact manager and a peer to peer network, in other words, we do not have a true server.  I want to share my BCM contacts with other users on other computers in my office.  Can you help?
