Wloc 2.0 Deniel of Service attack RRS feed

    Hello, I've had a rough evening so has the security measures in Wloc & windows and my router. Some one thought it be nice to send a deniel of service attack then after using the logged info from wloc firewall part of the log I used the IP info to track the system used down using windows trace command nabbed the users isp then called the isp with the wloc one ip info. next the person tried to access my router and that put the nat and my pw in my router to the test.

    My point here though is wloc 2.0 beta did it's part in the 3 Layers of Internet security I got setup

     

    #1 the Nat and password protected router

     

    #2 Windows Live One Care Firewall AV/spy scan & Monitoring (Antivirus & spyware scans)

     

    #3 Windows Security Center. & Network measures (Includes SSL and all the others)

     

    #4 The Paranoid Computer geek like me 

     

    OOPs that's 4

     

    Todays internet really challenges the Minds behind all internet security stuff. I'm Just Glad it all works.
