Jungle Disk for Windows Home Server Add-in Beta RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I'm happy to announce that a free public beta Jungle Disk for Windows Home Server is now available.
You can download it from: http://www.jungledisk.com/whs

Jungle Disk for Windows Home Server, which came in second in the Code2Fame challenge, allows you to automatically back up your important Home Server shared files to Amazon.com's S3 storage service. Amazon S3 gives you unlimited online storage with a unique pricing model where you pay only for the storage you are using, starting at $0.15 per gigabyte.

The Windows Home Server version of Jungle Disk is based on the same core technology as our popular desktop version for Windows, Mac, and Linux, but integrates closely with the Windows Home Server console allowing you to manage your backups and restores directly within the console. However, you can also use the desktop version of Jungle Disk to access your backed up files from any PC around the world. Jungle Disk's built-in encryption protects your data using a personal, private key.

Although we welcome any feedback and comments on this fourm, you may get a faster response to questions by posting directly in our own Jungle Disk for Windows Home Server forums.
