  Thanks to the instructions posted by Shecut I have been able to remove this from my computer. Although when I had completed the instructions I still had an icon on my desktop but could not locate any files. I went back into safe mode and did a search - sure enough there were a couple files remaining - I deleted them in the same way.

   

  p.s. don't forget to empty them from your recycle bin.
