Weird error popup saying openlui isn't defined RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have an issue with a lot of "oops something bad happened do you want to send this to microsoft?" and one is that often, but not always, when I go from a contact to the parent account by clicking on the parent account lookup I get this error popup. When I'm debugging it with the F12-mode the debugger stops saying openlui(domEvent), openlui is not defined.

What does this error mean? i have an onload script of the account which is in a try-catch, and the function isn't called so this seems to be happening before the custom onload scripts. Has anyone else seen this?

    Thanks

  • If these are the generic error messages, they could be caused when web resources are not loading in the proper order.  You can turn off the generic error messages in the personal options on the privacy tab.  This would need to be done by each user.

  • I don't like just turning error messages off, but it is what I did. I was just wondering if there was something you could do. It's a shame that the fourth iteration of CRM 2013 still has these kind of issues.

BTW, you can turn the error messages off org wide by using privacy settings under Administration.
