I have 2 PC's both with XP SP3. I tried fixitcenter. On both computers fixitcenter found the same 5 problems of which 1 is a maybe and the other 4 definitly were not a problem at all.
This is good. I'd be interested in seeing a URL that you used for
fixitcenter.
The location I found had about 5 separate "broad issue" fixes, and I ran two
of them and one--"startup items" gave some useful results.
So--both of us have machines that are working quite well.
Was there a particular problem that you thought fixitcenter might help with?
There are a large number of very specific issues that fix-its are available
for, and only a very small number of those are included in the wizards that
I ran, I suspect. Searching on a specific issue may get you more help.
