Actually, what is installed in your PC is Windows XP Pro, not Media Center - and someone has done that using a Geo-blocked Volume License for XP.Have you sent the machine for repair, or had a friend 'repair' it for you? - if so, they did you no favours. MCE is a pain to reinstall unless you have exactly the right media, which is not easy to acquire (believe me, I know - it took me three days recently before I had all the ducks lined up for one system!).As Carey says, your best option is to acquire the Recovery disk set from HP if you can.If they no longer have any disks, then you may be able to acquire a set from somewhere such as restoredisks.com (who appear to have them in stock).HTH

Unfortunately, the current installation of Windows is a regionally blocked Volume Licensing installation. If your HP computer still has the Windows Certificate of Authenticity affixed to it, your best option is to order a set of recovery discs from HP and use them to reinstall the original genuine installation of Windows back onto the computer.
