I have my Live One Care installed on my computer, and I have a recurring alert to turn on the firewall. I do this, and it tells me that it cannot be turned on at this time. Restart computer or contact Live One Care. I restarted, and that did not work. Could the problem be that I still have my server's virus protection on my computer, and they are conflicting with each other. I am hesitant to take this old software off until someone tells me to, incase my computer really is vulernable when I do it. Please advise.

If you have other security software installed on the PC, yes, you need to remove it as it may well be the reason that the OneCare firewall is failing to start.
If, after removing the other security software, the OneCare firewall still fails to start try the
