Dynamics CRM 2011 Outlook Client with Dell 6430U RRS feed

  • Hi,

    We have recently upgraded machines to Dell 6430u, and are now unable to use the Dynamics CRM 2011 Outlook client. We receive an error message stating that we need to add CRM to the trusted sites (which we have done) as IE is blocking the application, and now we are able to view via the web client, however through Outlook it still is unable to work and still states you need to added to trusted sites. This issue appears for all users on the machines, and is fine if another user uses a different machine.

    The CRM client is visible in Outlook, however as soon as you click CRM in the navigation pane, the CRM tab at the top becomes greyed out. We have tried several steps to re-enable the add-in and even added an entry in the host file to ensure DNS resolves correctly. I have checked my machine to see if Active X settings are the same, which they are.

    Any suggestions please, is there some security settings I am missing??
