Installer stopped, cannot restart. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm going round in circles.
I think my problem started when a windows auto update came in!!!

    My installer will not work.
It is set as stopped and I annot change the settings.

I cannot download anything to fix the problem, as I cannot install - hence round in circles.

    Please help.

The windows up-date that started, never finished properly either, so I think the problem came in during installation.

    Thanks in advance.

  • SianM,

Thank you for visiting the Windows Genuine Advange (WGA) program forum. A couple of questions. Do you remember which update  you were attempting to install? Did your problem occur during validation? Or did occur after you obtained your update? Do you remember what the exact error or dialog message which you received?
