After the security bulletin just put out by Microsoft I was wondering something. I dual booted my computer with Vista and XP. I have Windows Live OneCare installed on my Vista partition. Do I also need to install it on my XP partition or is my computer protected because OneCare is set to scan all the drives already?????
You do need to install One Care on the XP partition. When you boot into XP One Care is not running on the Vista partition so you are completely unprotected. Dual booting is like having two computers and each computer needs its own protection.
