How can I deactivate the default activated Conversation History option automatically ? RRS feed

    The Conversation History is enabled by default, how can I disable it automatically with Policy or RegKey e.g.
    The users should be able to choose this by themselve, ConversationHistory active or not active.
    So, the Policies/RegKeys "CallLogAutoArchivingPolicy" and "IMAutoArchivingPolicy" doesn´t help because then the user couldn´t change the options, they´re grayed out...

    By default a user can change this option himself.
    You might have some Registry tagging going on that the setting has been tagged into the registry
    Then you need to remove it manually
    Try to search for the IMAutoArchivingPolicy setting in the registry
    Verify that no Policy saves this setting back to the registry
