OneCare Failure Will not reinstall after unistall after if failed to update and start. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have had problems with OneCare it fails to update or start upon restart.  I have tried to Uninstall it and reinstall it but still it does not work.  I have downloaded the Installation fix and run it twice.  I have Uninstalled the program but it has an Installaion error.  My subscription was renewed 2 days ago and I purchased 2 years and now I am wondering why?

Do you have a clean install program or an other downloadable tools that will allow me to clean install OneCare?

     Uninstall OneCare - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=663806&SiteID=2

Download and run the cleanup tool - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=828910&SiteID=2

And then install OneCare from http://onecare.live.com and activate with the same LiveID used to originally subscribe.

What is the installation error you encounter?
