Practice Tests for 70-480 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I know this question has probably be asked in one way or another already, but does anyone know if there are any legitimate practice tests out there for 70-480?  I know that Measure-Up and Transcender don't have anything out yet, unfortunately.  Does anyone know if Test King is okay to use?  They were the only ones I could find that had any practice tests.

  • Hi Christine,

I am pretty sure that MeasureUp and Transcender are working on practice exams. These vendors are the only two that are officially recognized by Microsoft Learning (MSL.)

If you are looking for preparation help, try this free course provided by MSL. http://www.microsoftvirtualacademy.com/tracks/developing-html5-apps-jump-start  This online course does a good job covering the topics that may be included in the exam.

Take a look at the skills measured section on the 70-480 exam page: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-480 When I prepare for exams I usually will print this section out and then cross off all of the topics where I feel like I know my stuff. Then, I use the internet, books, etc. to research whatever topics are left.

There is also a promotion called 2nd Shot that allows you to retake an exam for free if you do not pass the first time: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/second-shot.aspx  There is no better practice test than the real thing!

I have taken and passed this exam. I would describe it as fair, challenging and reasonable.

    Good luck!
