  • Hello Sham

Where did you install CWA? Communicator Web Access needs an extra server. It is not supported to install it on frontend server.

  • That URL you typed is invalid.  You need to use the HTTPS prefix, and the 'Communicator web access' portion is completely invalid; not sure where you are getting that from.

Depending on if you deployed an internal or external instance of CWA you should have created an FQDN, as in im.domain.com.  Using localhost may not work depending on whether you used the same or separate certificates for MTLS and SSL.

You should be using https://im.domain.com  or  https://localhost .

  • Hello Warner,

    Thanks for the response.

You guessed correct, I installed CWA on frontend server.

I have only one PC with 64bit OS and architecture , Do I need one more x64 PC/Server for CWA  ? or I can install on 32bit PC with windows Xp/Windows 2003 etc ?

  • For testing you can install the web access on the fronten server. By the way it is not recommended from microsoft.

You can also install webaccess without ssl, but the you don't have the feature desktop sharing.

be careful with the settings of dns. You have to use one additional ip address for the cwa.

  • Thanks for the response and help.

It works when we changed the URL as suggested by Jeff. Thanks Jeff, we had spent lot of time trying several possibilities.

We changed the URL as "http://localhost/" to "https://Server1.domain1.Company/"   and it worked, :)

I could now browse the Office communicator web access. shows the startup screen for sign-in.

I entered the user name and password and clicked the sign in button it gives the error as

Your session was ended. Communicator Web Access cannot sign in to the server. If this problem persists, contact your system administrator.(Error code: 0-0-18100-2-0)

What I can do to sign in ? any suggestions please.
