That specific error-message only comes up when certain non-compatible software is run on Vista. We've been trying to find all the vendors that have this issue and have so far been pretty successful (with the list attached above).

A simple reboot will fix the issue. However, if the issue comes up again please take note of the programs you're running at that time and let me know ASAP!

Have you checked our program compatibility list to see if you have any of the programs installed?

  • Yes, I did that first, Phil.  I did not have any of those programs installed.  In fact, I had not installed anything for a couple weeks prior to getting that error message.  I just shutdown my laptop for a day.  Since then, I hav not reveived the message again.  Should I do anything else?

I appreciate the reply.  I know you are busy.
