CRM client installation

Question
-
I need to clarify the below points for CRM installation.
Can CRM Clients for remote computers (not being part of domain) be configured without being physically brought in to the network of the CRM domain. Is it necessary that CRM clients need to be part of domain via vpn and configure crm for outlook, if so every time when they synchronise do they need to be connected via vpn to the domain? (This is being tested and works).Thursday, May 28, 2009 9:33 AM

Hi,
you can use the IFD-Deployment for the CRM to grant access to the CRM without VPN and being part of the Domain.

Thanx Michael for the response.... I haven't tried it yet in my environment.
Is there any document which I can refer and explains everything elaborately?
Thanx once again.
