Context Sensitive Help for a C#-developed application RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I am a technical writer using a HAT (Flare) to create online help for software that runs on a desktop alongside a machine. The goal is to create CSH for some of the functions in the software which was developed in C#.

Is it possible to assign map files to the screen elements within this environment? If so, what are those requirements?
Has anyone had success running HTML5 Help within C#-developed software? If so, what was that process?
Finally, if an alternate route to publish help was used because of any limits posed by C#, what were those with respect to CSH? Different deliverable, for example?

Thank you for your help. I am weighing many angles and want to be able to have information to give the developers on my team.
