One Care v 1.5 Registeration Problem. RRS feed

    Hey guys

     

    I'm having some problems registering my copy of one care v 1.5. I've purchased a copy from my local computer store, installed it and went to register online but I am getting an error message saying the product key has already been used?

     

    I have tryed contacting microsoft but I am getting no where because I cannot even log in to get support!

     

    Does anybody has any suggestions?

  • Is this a brand new copy, never before used? Did you activate a subscription previously?

    If you never activated previously, you have a copy that either has a duplicate key or the key was used by someone else and returned to the store. You need to exchange it for another copy.

     

    If you have an active subscription, which is what was created when you activated on the first computer, you need to use the same LiveID on the subsequent activations. You can't use the same key twice. If you are arriving at a screen to purchase or provide a token, you are likely not using the same LiveID as the subscription ID.

     

    If you don't recall the LiveID you used for your subscription, you will need to contact support who can provide that information to you using your Key and/or contact information.

    Alternatively, sign in at http://billing.microsoft.com with email addresses that you have set up as LiveIDs and one will show your subscription listed - that would the LiveID to use to activate.
