Even after installing Update Rollup 2, MS CRM 4.0 for Outlook keeps asking to install this update

Question

We have CRM 4.0 server and we use CRM for Outlook as the client. I installed the following updates yesterday:
1. Update Rollup 1 for CRM on the server (64bit)
2. Update Rollup 1 for CRM for Outlook on the client machine which is also 64 bit. This was done by setting up Auto Update on the server as explained in
http://blogs.msdn.com/crm/archive/2008/12/23/update-rollup-1-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm-4-0.aspx. I have set it up as a mandatory update.
3. Update Rollup 2 for CRM on the server.
4. Update Rollup 2 for CRM for Outlook on the client. This was done by setting up Auto Update on the server as explained in
http://blogs.msdn.com/crm/archive/2009/01/20/update-rollup-2-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm-4-0.aspx. I have set it up as a mandatory update.
I shut down the computer yesterday after these updates and restarted this morning. Now, when I start Outlook, it says that there is a pending update (Update Rollup 2) inspite of the fact that it was already installed. Even if I go ahead and install it again, it gives the same error message the next time I start Outlook.
Any ideas why it is not seeing that the update has already been installed?
For now, I have disabled the auto update on the server so that when I start Outlook it does not even see that there is a pending update. By the way, even after installing these updates, the version number of the CRM for Outlook client does not change. It stays at 4.0.7333.3.
Thanks,
Ajay

Try installing update rollup 2 manually on the client system. it seems that client side rollup 2 is not getting installed properly here.
Cheers,

Installing the update manually makes no difference. It shows up under installed updates whether you do it via autoupdate or manually.
