Installation Woes

The OneCare I previously had needed to be renewed, but when I tried to renew it, it wouldn't work. So I went out and bought a new one. I've been trying all day to install it, but every time I put it in the disk drive, it won't run. HELP!!!

Have you uninstalled your previous installation of One Care? If you have not, see this post on how to renew One Care - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2908249&SiteID=2 If you have already uninstalled One Care, run the cleanup tool - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=828910&SiteID=2 then install the trial - http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-us/default.htm and follow the instructions in the above "How to renew One Care"post.
