  • For Facebook -- users of Facebook in other languages will be able to translate your English post into their language, via the "See translation" linki, without you having to do anything.

For WordPress -- if it is your own blog, and you want to provide translations to your readers, you can do so by adding the Microsoft Translator widget (http://www.microsofttranslator.com/widget) to your site. I've done this with my blog at http://www.netnavi.tv, which runs WordPress

For WordPress and other sites, if they are not your own, you can either get translation using the Bing toolbar, or you can paste the URL of the site into the text box at http://www.microsofttranslator.com, and you'll see the translation.

  • Let me be more specific. If I post something in English on let's say FB, does "Bing Translator" automatically offer the "translate" feature to someone who's primary language is Dutch, in this case? Or, do I have to do something first to get that feature to work? Conversely, does that also apply to blog pages on Word Press, for example?

    Thanks!

  • these posts are a couple years old, I hope someone see this and answers. I used to be able to use the "see translation" option when my Vietnamese friends posted on my facebook page. Now it doesn't seem to support the Vietnamese language. I see it has the option on other languages, like Japanese and Filipino, but I don't have the option for Vietnamese anymore. Please let me know how to turn it back on for Vietnamese.........
