Windows 7 Ultimate Windows validation was interrupted RRS feed

  • Question

  • If I opened "slui", it says it is activated. If I open "Control Panel\System and Security\System", it says it is activated too. However, when I go  http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/, I keep getting: windows validation interrupted.

The Key in use here is from a Fujitsu computer, not a Toshiba.
The highlighted error message implies that there is a firewall, or HOSTS entry blocking communication between the computer and the Validation servers at MS.
The computer was manufactured before Win 7 was released to the public – so cannot possibly have an OEM_SLP installation of Win 7, and cannot have a valid Windows marker.

    The installation is non-genuine.

You need to either reinstall the original OS (Vista) with which the computer came, using the manufacturer’s Recovery system, or purchase a valid license for Windows 7.
