Integration Hardware/ Server Requirements- MSCRM--> Scribe-->GP RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello-

I am deploying CRM 4.0 with Scribe to GP and have the hardware/software recommendations from MS etc. but I am curious as to recommendations as to how many machines/servers I should have and specs on those machines to deploy CRM 4.0 with Scribe. With the compilation of CRM Server/Web server/Reports server/IIS/Scribe Server etc. I am not sure as to which pieces can/should be installed together depending on the domain etc.

    Suggestions?

  • Hi,

Technically it's ok if you want to install everything in one box.

You could also install CRM/IIS on the web server, and install SQL/Reports/Scribe on the database server.

  • Jim-

Thanks for the reply. There is a great document I read on planning for a hosted environment, but not for on premise. While I understand we can install the components on 1 or 2 boxes, how do I determine how large the box should be for optimum performace?

I have this challenge for our own internal upgrade as well as our first client deployment.

    Thanks
