We are using the public beta of the OCS software. I have an Edge server sitting in the DMZ. Ports are open as per the Edge documenation. The Validation test shows that the Edge server can talk to the main OCS server. In my Office Communicator, I have the "External server" set to the internal IP address of the Edge server. However, I'm not able to chat with the Federated MSN or AOL users. In Office Communicator, the contact shows as "Presence Unknown", even though I am logged in to MSN Live Messenger and the AOL messenger. In both external IM clients, my work email/IM shows as offline.
From within Office Communicator, trying to send an IM to my external IM shows this message: "This message was not delivered to {user} due to error ID:1007."
On the other side, when I added my work address as a contact, it shows offline and in my Edge server's OCS log, it gives this message:
In the past 21 minutes the server received 1 incoming connections on internal edge from non-internal servers. The last one was from host federation.messenger.msn.com. Cause: This can happen if an internal server is not present in the list of internal servers on the Access Edge Server. Resolution: If the server is a valid one, you need to add it to the list of internal servers on the Access Edge Server. If the server is invalid, you may be under an attack from that server.

The strange thing here is that MSN is under the "IM Provider" tab and is set to Allow (as are AOL and Yahoo). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
