  I just clicked on the link and this navigates to Windows XP newsgroups (UI). http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/reader.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.windowsxp.general&mid=ed5e98cd-e067-4c99-b6a7-3f63c72abf86
  
  Where do you get this link? Is this part of the Live Alerts e-mail you recieve from this Forums Application?

  Thank you for your response.
  I did not receive an Alert for your reply.
  This appears to be of an intermittent nature, as some time after posting, I tried again and it worked fi9ne, but on trying again later it would not work.
  I don't know what it may have been as Internet was working fine otherwise.
  You are correct, it is a Forum reply Alert Link.

  Is there any reason I did not get your reply for this post, as the Alert Check Box id Ticked.

  It could be a Live Alerts issue and not Forums. Wondering though if there are any issues on the live alerts production site.
