Forum branding eats too much vertical space

  When using the forum on a computer with a relatively "short" screen (ny netbook, for example, whose display is 600 pixels high), the Microsoft and forum branding and all the other non-essential stuff at the top of every page makes the forum extraordinarily hard to use.  Looking at anything I've come to see requires scrolling (and scrolling again every time the page refreshes). 

  Folks .. by the time we get here, trust us, we've worked out that it's a Microsoft forum.  You don't really need to beat us over the head with it.
