  • i want install media player on hpc2008edition?

  • The Windows Server 2008 R2 HPC Edition does not support the 'Desktop Experience' features that provide Windows Media Player. If you need to use Media Player on your server, you'll need to use either the Standard or Enterprise editions.

  • HPC2008Edition doesnt make sense.

    You should begin with Windows Server 2008, HPC is just like an addon.

    Install feature called "Windows Desktop Experience".
