CRM 2013 SP1 "General failure in scheduling engine" in appointments RRS feed

  • Hi there, I recently upgraded to CRM 2013 SP1 from CRM 2011, when I retrieve an appointment I get the following error notification bar: "General failure in scheduling engine"

    I have a retrieve plugin registered (async) on appointments, when the plugin step is disabled everything works accordingly. I tried to have no logic in the plugin but still the error occurs. When I change the step to run synchronized I get no errors but this particular plugin has to be run asynchronously.

    I read few articles on the web but none of them have helped so far. Any givers?
