Remote Desktop Time out RRS feed

  • Question

  • How can I change the timeout on the Remote Desktop.  I haven't actually timed it, but if it's inactive for around 30 seconds it disconnects me.  All the devices involved are running Win7.  Is there a setting to change? If so where?

  • This setting is not configurable in the Live Mesh settings. Note that it should not be disconnecting you at 30 seconds of inactivity. My initial reply referred to the timeout setting before you actually are allowed to connect/sign in. if you are already connected, the client remote setting for a timeout is longer than 30 seconds, though I don't know the actual value.
