backing up from the hub computer RRS feed

  • Question

  • I was wondering if there is a way to back up another computer from the hub computer? Does anyone know if this is possible?

  • The only way that I can think to do this would be to disable Centralized backup, then create individual backup plans for each PC, pointing to network shares created on other PCs.

  • Wrestling with that one as well at the moment. Have had it backup the "unhub" computer to the hub once, then go "balistic" (change from green to yellow on the hub) once there is a file change. Just seems if one is only using a small network of two computers that would be more logical to back up each on the other! Screw up one have it backed up on the other?!?!?

Only way I've gotten it going at the moment is having both backing up on the hub. Just seems illogical. Hub goes down your screwed!
