I need to install Windows Live Onecare on Windows 7. I have downloaded the installer (1.4MB) and when trying to install it, free trial, windows 7 tells me that can't run this program due to compatability issues. I tried to change the compatability to Windows XP but same problem. So how can I insall it? Is there a version of onecare of windows 7?
Installation of One Care in Windows 7 is unsupported. There are plans to release a free antimalware product code name "Morro" sometime around the RTM of Windows 7. I suggest using one of the free antivirus offerings on Windows 7 until then. Avast, Avira, and AVG are a few of the free applications which are reported to work well.Jim - MVP Windows Live - Forum Moderator - Live One Care - Live Mesh
