Moved thread still appears in source forum as well as destination forum !

Question
-
Hello Folks !
I am seeing a strange behavior when a thread has been moved to one forum to another. Moved thread still appears in source forum where it was posted initially as well as in the destination forum.
Here is an example
Source thread
Destination thread
http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/Offtopic/thread/3e59d86e-b4b4-40de-80df-a57de9181b40
Any thoughts on this ? Perhaps, an after effect of January 2013 Forums Release ?
Thanks
Regards, Santosh

I've had the same problem - I suspect it's a server sync problem rather than anything else, and that it'll clear itself up as the dust settles over the recent updates. Following the old link actually results in going to the new thread, so it is working :)
Usually, going back an hour later, the old thread has disappeared.

It appears that, this issue has been fixed. I just verified this by moving a thread to a more appropriate forum without issues.
One observation though, Source Forum Name is missing in moved thread

Bug 1142375 was logged to track this issue. And I just made another stink about it. =^)

I got the same problem. I moved this thread http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-IN/transactsql/thread/31a0c96c-2cdd-4c16-b527-4669d137ddd2 to a better forum, but I still see it under Transact-SQL forum.

So, Naomi, do you think we need to report this one, or is the server sync issue being taken care of?
Thanks!

I verified the bug of not including source forums. I'm submitting that bug now.
Thanks, Santosh!

If I move a thread I only see the "Moved by...." info in the forum I am moderator. I don't see it in other target forums.

Yes, I was also thinking Kalman's issue is a completely different more permanent issue.

I just moved this thread to Tools from Database Design:
I don't see any "Move by..." line. My understanding that only the moderators can see the "Move by..." line.

I just moved this thread to Transact-SQL from Database Design, I am moderator in both:
Here I see the "Moved by ..." line:

Yes, that's correct (at present)
If you are a moderator on both source and destination forums, you can see Moved By statement on moved thread.
e.g.
If you are a moderator on source forum and a user on destination forum, Moved By will not be visible to you on moved thread.

I see that an issue: As a moderator I can't tell what non-moderators see.
I prefer to see what everybody else see.

I'm an Answerer here and I can confirm that Answerers don't see any information about who/when marked/proposed an answer, edited a post, moved a thread, etc either.Don't retire TechNet! - (Maybe there's still a chance for hope, over 10,750+ strong and growing)

I see that an issue: As a moderator I can't tell what non-moderators see.
I prefer to see what everybody else see.
At present, a Moderator can see following:Moved by , Merged by , Porposed by, Unproposed by, Marked as Answer by, Unmarked as Answer by, post Edits and Comments on abusive posts.
At present, Moved by , Merged by , Porposed by, Unproposed by, Marked as Answer by, Unmarked as Answer by and post Edits are not visible to normal users (Which used to work earlier) and it's a known issue. I believe, these have been logged as bugs, hope to see those issues get fixed one day.
Comments on abusive posts and who marked the posts as abusive were never visible to normal users earlier as well as now. This functionality should remain as it is.
