Windows 7 Pro sp1 validation errors

Question
-
Hello I have a Dell latitude E6410 just recently purchased refurbished (pre installed oem builder) from walmart.com a few months ago and within the last few weeks the validation dialog keeps randomly popping up 0x8004fe22 . I go to the validation website and keep getting the message that this windows cannot be validated even though on the system info page in windows it tells me windows is activated and mgadiag says were genuine. Heres the mgadiag results::

The type of error you had is often caused by injudicious use of a registry 'cleaner' - I was expecting to see other evidence of missing registry links.
All that lot came back normal, so with any luck you should be good to go!
Good luck.

Please attempt validation using Internet Explorer at www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate - what happens?
Post a new MGADiag report

Hello Noel, thank you for the suggestion of IE but still same message... (The validation service couldn't determine whether the copy of Windows that is running on your computer is genuine. Please try to validate Windows again. If you keep getting validation errors, try to again later or contact support.) :: Newest mgadiag report with Firefox removed and all spyware firewalls disabled using IE 11 :

That's better - at least I can see a diagnostic error message now!
Tampered File: %systemroot%\system32\slui.exe|slui.exe.mui|COM RegistrationTo confirm that the problem is what I think it is, please run the following commands in an Elevated Command Prompt window and post the results.
REG QUERY HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\Wow6432Node\TypeLib\{EE574957-4077-4AD6-8658-327C2C86C5AA} /S
REG QUERY HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\TypeLib\{EE574957-4077-4AD6-8658-327C2C86C5AA} /S
REG QUERY HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Classes\TypeLib\{EE574957-4077-4AD6-8658-327C2C86C5AA} /S
Here are some instructions to make life easier :)
1) To open an Elevated Command Prompt Window (the ECP window), click on Start, All Programs, Accessories – then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
2) To run the commands easier, highlight the block of commands, and right-click on the highlight – select Copy. In the CP Window, click on the black/white icon at top left – select Paste. The commands will run but may not complete the last command, so hit the Enter Key once.
3) To copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.

Hey Noel, I ran the elevated cmd prompt and well of course those reg keys are missing
(I did do a internet search and found another thread where you suggest downloading a file to looks like a similar problem I am having - sluicom64.zip)
here's the results from the cmd prompt, I also manually checked for these reg keys using regedit::

Alright Noel I followed a suggested answer from a similar threads problems
I've uploaded a file - sluicom64.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
Please download and save it to your desktop.
Right-click on the saved file and select Extract all...
Save it to the default location
This should create a file sluicom64.reg
right-click on the file, and select Merge
Accept the warnings, - you should then get a 'Success' message.
Close all windows, and reboot.
Run another MGADiag report, and post the results.
Re validated thru https://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/default.aspx shows up as valid now. MGAdiag.exe now shows::

I have to admit to surprise that it worked! - the report looks fine, now.
However, I think it may be a good idea to check at least some of the other registry keys involved...
Please open an Elevated Command Prompt, and run the following commands

The type of error you had is often caused by injudicious use of a registry 'cleaner' - I was expecting to see other evidence of missing registry links.
All that lot came back normal, so with any luck you should be good to go!
Good luck.

Hey Noel, thank you very much for your help on this issue! I knew of a registry cleaner being used but its been removed since, most likely a mistaken miss use. I do appreciate your time and patience. Checked out your windows help website, a great resource for older windows versions. Hope you achieve MVP status once again good luck!Monday, June 27, 2016 4:05 AM
