70-980 MCSE Recertification

    I am trying to find reliable material to use in order to study for this exam. When I took the 413 and 414 I remember the books only being about 2012 r2 while the questions contained system center in there. I can buy the 413 and 414 self study books again but a lot of people state the information given is not adequate... Can anyone point me in the right location to get good books and practice questions?

    Hello Jedi_Administrator,

    Besides the "preparation materials" section in the official exam pages (with MOC, books, videos, etc.), you might find many more videos on these topics at the MVA (Microsoft Virtual Academy), at Channel9 or simply on Youtube.

    I looked there as well but nothing for 70-980.... May need different keywords... But these sites so far have not been good for the search of material

    Now that it is 2017, if you are still looking into this, you could just take any one of the exams listed here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/mcse-cloud-platform-infrastructure.aspx

    That would allow you to get the new MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure cert which doesn't expire. Instead of taking 70-980 you have more choices. 

    The 70-744 exam would work, and has an ebook here: https://www.microsoftpressstore.com/store/exam-ref-70-744-securing-windows-server-2016-9781509304264
