Importing Customizations Error RRS feed

    The past two times I have attempted to import customizations I have received the following error:

    "A record with these values already exists. A duplicate record cannot be created. Select one or more unique values and try again".

     

    I only receive this error when I attempt to import the Case object. Does anyone have any idea why I am getting this?

    I checked all custom fields on the object in question and all data types were the same between our test environment and production environment. I did however, find this Hotfix that seems to fix the issue in question. Have you or anyone else ever seen or implemented this Hotfix?

    The most likely casue is if the import xml refers to a field that has the same schema name as an existing field, but a different datatype
