    From the OCS MMC you can check the communicator version that the OCS user is using by querying the RTC database.

     

    Is there a way to manually restrict access for specific versions of Communictor? Is it possible to adapt the message that a user gets on the screen after logging on with a 'blocked' version?

    Check "Configuring Client Version Filtering" on page 167 of OCS_Admin.doc.  That section describes how to block specific client versions.  I believe the error message is generated at the client level based on the server response.  I'm not aware of a way to change it.
